Radio Veronica started as an offshore radio station in the 1960s. In 1974, anti-pirate legislation came into effect, causing Radio Veronica to shut down. It joined the national public broadcasting system in 1975, but the station's wish to be an independent station never faded. Finally, in 1995, the Veronica Broadcasting Organisation left the national public broadcasting system and became independent again.
In 1995, the radio station was called Hitradio Veronica. But after it was granted an FM license, its name was changed into Veronica FM. The pay-off was "Het nieuwe geluid van je radio!" ("The new sound of your radio!").
These jingles were created by ReelWorld. Voice inserts in these jingles are done by Julia Samuel and Alfred Lagarde.

@svdwiele En dat klopt. De vocalen zijn opgenomen in Seattle, Verenigde Staten en niet in Amsterdam, Hilversum of zelfs Geldrop, ook al hadden ze geproduceerd voor een radiostation in Nederland, dat nu ter ziele is gegaan.
