I love this pen, a practical writer's pen with huge ink capacity. I don't expect this pen to last forever--those plastic threads on metal might not last, and the pen has a plasticky rattle to the barrel, probably from the end of the converter. So--I've bought several to replace each one as it gives up the ghost. At $10-$13, it's affordable.

I like the pen and I like the price! The highlight of the 9019 is surely the outsize converter design. In many respects this is a better pen than the X159.

That converter is definitely a winner. I can see myself using these as much, if not more than, the x159. Great addition to the Jinhao line up in my opinion

Dadao is Chinese for sword. I thought it was inspired by the Montblanc 149 but it is wider than that pen. The big thing is the converter which hold 2X the capacity of normal Jinhao converter.

Dadao translate as 'big knife' or 'saber'. Da = big. Dao =knife.

How would this compare with Wing Sung 630?

I don't have on, although it is on a list somewhere. My understanding is a 630 is comparable in body size to an x159 or MB 149 but with a longer nib. Not had one in person though

THE BIG DADDY-O ! ! ! 13-14 mm section!. Someone measured the ink capacity at 2.1mm;should be plenty for a page or two. I'm hoping the Medium nibs might be a bit wetter out of the box. Oh,right;I'm not getting a box with mine. I see that as a good thing for box hoarders. The Clear/Transparent model is so stark looking. I ordered one of those Clear ones and a Wine Red/Transparent,both with Medium nibs. In the Chinese ads for this pen they showed a small UFP/Unidentified Fountain Pen in Cream/Navy colors beside the 9019 that looked to me to be a cross between a Sailor Mini and a Pilot E95S.

Love mine! I have large hands, so chunky pens are what I like. Mine is a burgundy pen with a medium nib and it writes beautifully.

No, I wouldn't advise with the metal barrel collar. Plus I can see daylight through the injection mold at the end finial
