Well it did not come from Indonesia, either. While there were resurgences in Indonesia in 2022 and Egypt in 2017, Lato-lato already existed in the 60s and 70s in the US. It's originally called CLACKERS. Check Wikipedia.

Bullshit! LATO LATO was invented in the Philippines an ancient form of it anyway.. Remember right after Taiwan the next major area Austronesian's colonized was the Philippine Islands even before Indonesia.
