I live in the U.S., so I know what it’s like to live outside of your home country. Language is tough, especially in the situation like this, there are so many slang and technical specific words involved. I know it isn’t easy. It might be so much better to pick a captain who is a little more friendly. But aside from that, I think you need to communicate better, especially before you get on board. You need to let them know who you are and what you’re looking to do BEFORE you get on this boat, find out what they’ll allow you to do on this boat and figure out if this boat is right for you or not. Also, you NEED to communicate with the skipper when you’re on board. if you ignore him, he will not be happy. Even if you don’t understand him, you need to get to him and understand what he is telling you. Just because you’re customer on this boat, doesn’t mean you can just do what you want. It is still his boat. Those skippers, they are on the water almost every day and knows what works the best. And it is their reputation to bring fish. So, of course, they’ll advise you what to do. If you like to fish your way, you need to let them know ahead of the time. Depending the type of fishing you’ll be doing on the boat, they way captain drift the boat may be different. you don’t know that. And If you don’t like it, then you can just pick another boat who is more friendly and let you do what you wanna do regardless of the catch. It is your choice, You don’t have to upload video with the name of the boat displayed criticize them. (unless your preparation is perfect.)

Great advice, although he may not understand (or may not want to understand) what you are saying. I don’t think its a language issue.
