Nice reaction Matsu Patty. Eugene was their drummer when he had that horrific accident. Shortly after that, their second guitarist named Dmitry Oksen, (an original founding member of Jinjer) quit the band to become an actor. It was at this time that Tati became seriously depressed (from what I've heard and read) because she felt that the band was falling apart after working so hard and finally starting to become successful, plus she really loved the band so much. Tati actually cut off her long hair, ( she had dreads at the time) because of depression. If you ever get to react to I Speak Astronomy (OMV) one day, which is a phenomenal song and video, you'll see Tati with really short hair. The band continued on with Roman as the sole guitarist and after Eugene's accident by filling in the drummer position with a really close friend named Dmitry Kim (whose also a fantastic drummer) He was their drummer for their follow up album to Cloud Factory, and that album's name is King of Everything. If you react to Sit, Stay,Rollover, I Speak Astronomy, Just Another, and Words of Wisdom official music videos, you'll see Dmitry on those videos. Dmitry would have been the permanent replacement drummer, but chose not to because he couldn't commit to Jinjers' insane touring schedule, so he was a fill in until they could find a permanent replacement, which ended up being Vlad in 2016. Dmitry is still friends with the band, and works with them in the sound engineering side of Jinjer. He actually was in the studio helping Vlad when he was laying out his drum tracks for their upcoming album Wallflowers which is going to be released August 27th, and which you already reacted to the first single they released from that album named Vortex. Sorry for the long comment Matsu Patty, but I hope this information was helpful to you. Looking forward to more Jinjer reactions, and as always, stay Metal young lady. 😊😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

One of my favorites of this band. In general, the Cloud Factory album without weak songs is one of the best.

Excellent broadcast, Matsu Patty! [Sub!] And for me, you're choosing the right Bands to cover, namely Band-Maid, Jinjer and The warning. In addition to their exceptional writing, playing and performances, all three of these bands have super interesting members and backstories.

Latest drummer, Vlad, has solidified the band and wrote 8 of 10 songs for soon to be released album, Wallflowers.

It's going to be very telling on whether the proggy stuff we got with Micro and Macro was from his influence or Eugene's. While there are songs I like from both of those albums, I tend to prefer the stuff from KoE and earlier, but I wasn't sure if the change is sound was due to the guitar player leaving and allowing Eugene to write the songs, or the addition of Vlad.

@@Neal_KZbin I do prefer the heavier but regardless of the song, I like all their videos.

Great reaction, Patty; I appreciate that you do your research. Jinjer had to flee their hometown of Donetsk when Russia invaded southern Ukraine. They know what it's like to be refugees. You also mention how Jinjer won 'Best Ukrainian Metal Act" back in the day. There's an official music video documenting that win via their performance of the song "Outlander." PLEASE react to that OMV. It's my favorite Jinjer song. Be happy and blessed!

Have you checked out Home Back yet? This song has a lot to do with their back ground. You should react, and research this song at some point in the future. Fun, and informative reaction! Keep up the good work.

It's sad about Eugene/Yevhen Mantulin's injury, he was a good drummer. They've had five really good drummers, but Vlad is spectacular - I like Eugene Abdukhanov's description that when Vlad joined, Jinjer felt complete. I love that you dig into their stories! Thank you, Matsu Patty, looking forward to more! ❤🤘

@@MatsuPatty if you take a look to the official video of this song you actually could see that drummer who fell and broke his spine.

very nice review, I don't even want to say "reaction" because it was more than that. I enjoy watching Jinjer reactions, and I've enjoyed almost all the ones I've seen but yours was just a little different and I did give it a well deserved "like" have a great day, all the best...

(Forgive tge typos, I'm on my damn pgone...lol Can't see the keyboard....lol And these keys were made for tiny people...elves or something....lol)

I'm actually a bit frightened of what their next studio album will be like. I'm thinking we'll get Tatiana Waters.
