The making of is funny. That glitch was caused by her quarreling with the director about moving her hands. She didn't want to move her hands. She complained that it made her forget the words, that it looked stupid, that it was unnatural, that it made her look like she has boyish hands, and on and on. Lol. The director kept reassuring her, it's going to look good with the effects, trust me. Btw, that outfit she wears at the end, she took that and made a dress from it. She wears it in the live at Summer Breeze version of this song and the live version of Captain Clock.

I'm a Jinjer fan since '18 and have seen them a couple of times thus far. Tatiana is a 5' 3" thermonuclear weapon that explodes when she hits the stage. 🤘They are a band that comes around only once in a generation. 💙💛

An older song from the 2nd album, King of Everything. Vlad was not in the band yet. Dmitriy Kim on drums here. Tati has since gotten married which suggests that she found what she was looking for in this song. Absolutely do more Jinjer. When you come back around to them, try Teacher Teacher, or from the most recent album Vortex.

This is their original drummer, who fell out of an upper level window and was paralyzed. He was good and still tours with a different band, but plays guitar since he can't use his feet for drums. May I suggest Tatiana's Live One-Take Vocal performance of Judgement and Punishment. IMO the music video should be second. She has wrecked many old schools of vocal-theory and this showcases her skillset tremendously. It will never win a poll so you should just listen for your own enjoyment. But it is badass!

You've gone through most of the staples at this point. One of my favorites that I don't feel gets enough credit is "Scissors". Its definitely not as masterful/intricate as their newer stuff, but it has more grove and hits hard. Another along those same lines is "Cloud Factory". Those two are absolutely in my small playlist for when I'm doing something at max effort.

a friend of mine introduced me to Jinjer by having me listen to the King of Everything album that features this song, and Pisces, and I've been a fan ever since, I was really crossing my fingers you wouldn't get caught out near the end of the video, that ending has tripped reactors before 😅

One of my very favorite Jinjer songs! I am glad you look into the lyrics, this band is so amazing in their sound I feel like some people miss the artistry of Tatianas lyrics. Awesome reaction, keep the Jinjer coming!

Hey Nikki, I've loved all your Jinjer reactions so far. This is an older Jinjer song and video (which features their previous drummer, just prior to when Vlad replaced him), but both are very cool and Tatiana solidifies her status as a "metal goddess". 😁 I think you would really like the official video for their song Wallflower. The song has a very cool mellow groove at the beginning which gradually builds to a huge finish and the lyrics and video are about Tatiana's struggle with being an introvert in the very public music industry, along with her tendency to procrastinate and the pressure she feels from the other band members to finish the lyrics and record her vocals after they have finished all the music for an album. I'd also recommend the official video for Home Back. The lyrics and music for Home Back were written in 2019 about the chronic fighting with Russian-backed separatists since 2014 in their homeland of the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine and the emotional video relates how pissed off they were, but it has an even greater emotional impact since sociopath Putin's all-out invasion in 2022.

Jinjer is great. Their catalogue is vast and awesome. I hardly see anyone react to it, but I am a big fan of the song "Ghost Flowers" by Otep. Just throwing out that suggestion. Other than that, anything that you have not heard by In This Moment. I enjoy the reactions, keep up the good work.

The reason why this song sounds so wierd to people is because it is in 5/8 time instead of 4/4 or 2/4 which is what pretty much every song you have ever heard is played in

Yeah, and just as you were saying "It shifts a lot," it shifts from 5/8 to 6/8, then 7/8; and the verse keeps shifting between 6 and 7. And it just gets crazier from there! Then it drops to standard 4/4 for "Come and join me in my rotation" etc. It's all over the place, but somehow Tatiana found a way not only to plot a rhythmic and melodic course through the chaos, but to tie it all together vocally in a way that makes it flow and make sense. It's truly a rare gift. Reminds me of Rush. In a really good way!
