You should check out their older stuff, more metal core. Their newer sound has been real prog from what it used to be. Sit stay roll over is a great track this reminded me of if you haven’t already checked it out. That one and a song called Words of Wisdom are great

This is the most aggressive they have sounded since the King of Everything album. You might like a few of the songs from it. Sit Stay Roll Over, Captain Clock, Under The Dome, and Dip A Sail all lean towards the heavy side. One of the reasons I enjoy this band so much is the contrast of the styles and the transitions between them. If it's not your thing, that's cool. There are other bands that I will readily admit are super talented but the style just doesn't do it for me.
