Objects In Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear is the first Demo EP of the band Jinjer with Maksym (Maks) Fatullayev on vocals (He was the first vocalist of the band), Dmitriy Oksen (founder of Jinjer) and Rostislav Lobachev on guitars, Aleksey Belinskiy on bass and Vyacheslav Okhrimenko on drums.
This Demo Ep was self-released in 2009.

I actually didn't know that Tatiana wasn't an original member. I got into Jinjer really early on; but I guess not as early as I'd thought. Reminds me of the band Straight Line Stitch. Same thing happened there. They started off with a male vocalist briefly; and then Alexis came on as the singer and the band jumped up in popularity.

It was certainly another band and another time. The last original member to leave was Dmitriy Oksen in 2015 (the founder of the band) the good thing is that he's still a good friend of the band.

And that`s the reason why no one from Jinjer of today knows what the hell their band name means! 🤣🤣🤣 So, if you want to annoy especiall Eugene or Tatiana ask them that damn question: "What does Jinjer mean?" 😎👎

@@bernhardkulzer9125 why sould you want to annoy them? personnaly, they give me so much pleasure, that i don't even think to annoy them, i would hug them, congratulate them, take a ticket for their next show...but in anyway annoy them, and ai don't really care about a word that has been invented, i just prefer focus on their music!

@@tevacharra1775 Sorry, you misunderstood. I was refering to the fact that they really don`t know why their band name is Jinjer. It was a decision from the original members, all of whom have left the band. In several interviews at least Tatiana and Eugene said that they don`t want to answer that question anymore. If I met them I definitely had other questions and - yes, I wouldn`t want to annoy them!!!

Maksym Fatullaiev does a great job with his screaming and growling! Much better than Tati! He and Dmitry Oksen should rejoin Jinjer and perform songs from every Jinjer album permanently! Pretty sure you're alone on that one dude. Tatiana is a bonafide Metal icon now; and Jinjer is literally and figuratively a completely different band. It's cool if this is your jam; but Jinjer moved and evolved a long time ago.
