This. Roman took the lead in composing most of their music until Vlad started playing such a big role on their most recent albums. But he strikes me as a music nerd (as a nerd in other areas, definitely not a bad thing) and isn't the showman.

With many reaction channels the focus is very much on Tatiana, and for good reason, she's an amazing vocalist and lyricist as well, so I think it's really refreshing that you shone your spotlight on the guys and acknowledged them as well, Vlad on drums, Roman on guitar, and Eugene on bass

Arguably my favorite live video performance and song by Jinjer. "In The Darkest Place....." Bummer it wasn't on the setlist when I saw Jinjer in September.....but a killer show none the less.

Awesome reaction! I love the fact that Vlad can create so much sound with such a small kit! Eugene (bass) and Roman (guitar) tend to get overlooked sometimes because Tatiana is such a force of nature, but they are absolute masters in their own right!

Vlad, the drummer, is a classically trained pianist. The band he was playing guitar for prior to Jinjer was having a hard time finding a drummer replacement so he taught himself how to drum. He really found a fine home in Jinjer and we're always impressed with him! Eugene, Roman and Tatiana all learned their craft on their own as well. A band FULL of excellent musicians without any formal training on their respective instruments!

Haven't listened to them in ages. They've kind of lost me with their newest material but I need to go back to them soon. Tati is a phenomenal singer and they're all amazing musicians. There's this new band called Stellvris who have recently opened for Jinjer, you might like them. They also have an amazing female vocalist Nicol. New single Divided dropped last week. Could you react to it?

Nice review! A lot of On The Top is in 4, but Vlad's snare is often not on the usual 2 and 4. Roman always has fantastic tone and the chords he plays are tasteful and often dissonant (minor seconds, etc.). An excellent guitar player who fits perfectly with the band.
