I remember I did not like it when I first listened to it, but now I think it is great. The more you listen the more you cherish the details.

Vortex is my favourite. It speaks directly to those of us with mental health issues in a powerful, liberating way. Fantastic lyrics, amazing music. Brilliant, if that's your cup of tea.

My personal Top 5 Jinjer songs would be: 1. Teacher, Teacher 2. Vortex 3. I Speak Astronomy 4. Perennial 5. Home Back Green Serpent 🐍 is the newest earworm that keeps on giving. I catch myself humming it just about everyday at some point.

I’m so glad Perrenial made it onto the list. it was life changing for me from everything to the arrangement to lyrics. Those lyrics blew me away when I started studying them. I love trying to learn their songs.

As someone who found out about Jinjer just this past year through Pisces on KZbin. I've gone down their entire discography and am amazed at the musicianship of the band. Each member seems as if they are individually virtuosos at their respective roles. Inhale, Do Not Breath happened to be the last album that I heard from them chronologically and I was blown away at their sound and talent from very beginning. Exposed as a Liar is a song that I play daily and can't get enough of.

As lot of people are sharing precerences and personal experiences, here's mine: I was at their show at Rio de Janeiro, i don't know how to explain what it was, but i can tell that it changed the way that i listen to Jinjer, particularly Perennial, listening to it live, living the song, was sublime. God i love this band so much. For the record, my top 5 in no defined order: - Perennial - Pisces - Judgment - Rogue - Noah.

It's a strong discography, so it's hard to choose. My top 5: 1. Ape 2. Home Back 3. Outlander 4. When Two Empires Collide 5. As I Boil Ice Honourable mentions (in order by release date & track #): A Plus Or A Minus, No Hoard Of Value, Cloud Factory, Captain Clock, I Speak Astronomy, Sit Stay Roll Over, Perennial, Pit of Consciousness, Retrospection, Vortex, Sleep of the Righteous, Dead Hands Feel No Pain, Mediator, Green Serpent. Any of the honourable mentions could slip into the top 5 and something slip out of the top 5 into the honourable mentions.

Been listening to rock/metal since the late 70s, and Jinjer became my favorite band in 2020 and I Speak Astronomy is my absolute favorite song of all time. Congrats to Tati on her sobriety. Keep it up.

Without having watched the video yet, I'd have to go with my personal picks and say : 1) Pisces 2)Perennial (personal favorite!) 3)I Speak Astronomy 4)On The Top (?) 5)Who's Gonna Be The One? 1-3 are too easy. After that, too many bangers to choose from. Now, time to watch and find out 😅 *edit* after watching HOW TF DID I FORGET ABOUT 'Teacher, Teacher' ?? Also...the grape song?

15 years of songs. Hard to pick. Definitely for me. I love the band because of their variety. I enjoy the entire catalog. It must be hard to pick a setlist that is 30 minutes or even an hour long for them. Definitely would be for me.

my top 5: >Home Back >No Hoard of Value >Vortex >Cloud Factory >Disclosure plus about a dozen honorable mentions (i deliberately left off stuff from the new album simply to control for recency bias -- though some of the riffs/melodies are some of the absolute best yet)

Cloud Factory, I Speak Astronomy, When Two Empires Collide, Someone’s Daughter(2 daughters) and Green Serpent(33yrs sober) are my top 5 Jinjer songs. I can’t forget Zhelayu Znachit Poluchu, that’s a hard hitting, fun song right from the beginning. As an old school metalhead, Jinjer is my favorite band and as been for the last handful of years

The top 3, 5 or 10 is nonsense when it comes to Jinjer. Hence, everyone's top songs are different except just a few ones. it's sign of a great band and putting their backbones into every song.

I totally can understand them to not choose any song of Wallflowers. The songs are awesome, but this is a Corona album, that will be always a negative for artists like Jinjer. I am surprised that they also had Green Serpent on the list as it so new, but it is a masterpiece.
@hemlock399Күн бұрын
What's a "Corona album"? You mean it was released during the pandemic, and you think people have negative associations with it because of that?
@BaatarDFKКүн бұрын
