Coming from a professional musician who is a guitarist first, and a Bassist second, In reference to Eugene, the band’s Bass player: I think It takes incredible discipline to continually play a simplistic riff, and not allow yourself to be tempted to play stylistic fills, and add improvised nuance. It serves the song material perfectly, and as many times as he’s played this song for others, he maintains that focus and near robotic timing. These guys are masters of their craft.

As a vocalist it's so easy to get wrapped up in Tatianas vocals that I miss the intricacies of the instruments. I wish there were more playthroughs like this...I love hearing the instrumentals for what they are ♥ Beautiful ♥

I love everything about this song. The dramatic changes, the complexity, the beat. I'm a drummer and love the rolling, fluidity of the beat. I'm also a Pisces and the lyrics describe us very well. How we desperately need to be loved. That need, our loyalty , and selflessness burns us alot. Also our attraction to fire signs, and the scales represents the wall we put up. Love everything about this song especially the lyrics.

Step forward and meet a new sunrise A coward is shivering inside Today I’ll be a friend of mine Who swallows suffering with smile I drew a different reality
With unconditional loyalty Ego hardly can be piqued
Cause I’m selfless [Chorus] Scale armour blaze
Virgin innocence One being brings life
Another runs for death Scale armour blaze Virgin innocence One being brings life
Another runs for death [Verse 2] No promises I ever give Don’t rely on me and I won’t deceive The beginning or the end you can’t tell When I wave my fin and shake my tail I grew in different normality With unblamable morality Hooks and nets are there for me But I’m skittish [Chorus] Scale armour blaze Virgin innocence One being brings life Another runs for death Scale armour blaze Virgin innocence One being brings life
Another runs for death [Verse 3] Neptune’s child shivering inside Drowns in the liquid gold Cherished his life to the underworld Meet me flashing when winter cries [Outro] Pisces swimming through the river All their life against the stream Searching for a hook to catch on and see their sun beam Then suffocate in painful tortures On cutting tables of callous men Under a knife of handsome butchers Emeralds are ripped away

Life is pain Are you sure ? I think no one actually knows for certain, because there are no official lyrics on Jinjer’s website, and the lyrics are different on most sites. Most of them say “Blaze”. “Belies” makes more sense and sounds cooler and more fitting, but still the majority of the lyric sites say “Blaze” There are countless KZbinrs arguing over this subject. But who knows for certain, so this can be laid to rest ?
