Tatiana is an introvert who has a profession that requires her to be an extrovert. In the video Tatiana is trying to enjoy some alone time, while procrastinating about writing lyrics to the music that the band members have written. The band members become annoyed, start getting on her case about it. At first Tatiana resists, but eventually she throws some lyrics to the music, and the band members leave her alone. Great video concept, and a hauntingly beautiful song.

I couldn't have expressed it better than "Hauntingly Beautiful" that is perfect. I can relate to that, but backwards, I spend most of my time working on KZbin stuff in one way or another, and have a nagging voice in the back of my head telling me to do something like play a game.

Thanks for sharing. When I first heard this song felt like Tatiana wrote it for me. Suffered with anxiety in public and crowds for 20 years. You can feel alone at times and it helps to know others feel the same. I have tickets to see them December 1st in Tampa...I'll deal with the anxiety to see them in person. lolol Have a great day!

Thanks Brian. I felt the same, so did Heather. It's really useful if you have a hard time to explain how you feel, for someone to write a song like this that helps you show people in a small way, and they can understand a bit more. Every time we find something new like that, we can build a broader picture for those who want to know what we might not be able to express ourselves. I am lucky that I don't have any anxiety issues, Heather's was really bad until she actively took steps to lessen it, until she could gain control of it. I am trying that with my intense fear of anyone hearing that a pretty singing voice comes out of this face, and I have severe issues with self confidence (Hence why I am doing the videos, to take my own control over this). I have depression as well. For most it's a hard thing to talk about, but most of us don't realize we are sitting feet away from someone else thinking the same things. You are amazing!! You have a great day too!! 😄 I am also super impressed that you told me, I feel that the more this becomes looked at as just and illness, and people talk about it, the closer we get to being able do something about it.

We are in East Cost Canada. It's not unheard of for the temperature to hit -40C, which is also -40F. So we have become very accustomed to the cold. Next week or 2 it will be an average of around 15c (59F) I will still be wearing a T-Shirt and Shorts.

I am sure there are others I have missed as well, actually for videos, I don't think I have seen anything other than Pisces, and the one that came out a few months ago. We are doing great. Hope you are too, miss you!! PS. we might start doing stuff on Discord, like Watch Parties, and a really fun game, that people just need to have a web browser to play a long. Oh, and we are going to add Black Veil Brides, and one band we haven't yet decided on to the Friday videos.

@@CaptainFaceBeard if you are familiar with their studio music and haven't seen their videos, that's fine because their concert videos tend to overshadow the official videos anyway. I'd start with Perennial at Wacken or Who Is Gonna Be The One official and go from there. Also if you haven't heard Vortex and Mediator those are great videos.

In the video, there's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she sees the wolves on the wall, realizes her defensive anger and her over-reaction in a situation she created, and throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at the band and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. White Wolf, Black Wolf: A Cherokee Story Inside you lives a wolf of white- of patience, peace and love. He is forgiveness, hope and light; a blessing from above. @@CaptainFaceBeard - That moment when the white wolf nods at Tatiana and she nods back like she's saying "ok, I'm not gonna let the black wolf win, I'm gonna feed you" is for me the key moment in the video. When she finally feeds the white wolf in her, all the frustration and anger that builds up inside due to her procrastinating nature eventually turns into the lyrical masterpieces she often produces. : )

In case you don't know, Twelve Foot Ninja dropped a new single last week that features Tatiana on vocals. The song is very melodic and the video is funny. She plays the role of a creepy fortune teller.

The original song title was supposed to be Introvert, but Tati changed it when her husband told her about the english term Wallflower. It also fit the album artwork, so they used the plural for the title too. I think she wanted As I Boil Ice to be the title track at first. The whole album is fantastic. Speaking of female vocalists, Spiritbox released the rest of their new album last week too. I feel like the ladies in metal are killing it lately and bringing something fresh to the genre.

They most definitely have. I need to see if there is any new stuff from In This Moment. WOW though, As I Boil Ice, is one of those song titles that when you read it on the back sleeve, you just keep thinking about how bad ass it's going to be for the whole record until it happens.

I have only ever heard 1 Eidola song, Sir Vishnu Yantra, so I listened to it like 4 times yesterday, and maybe a couple today to jog my memory. Tilian got sick last week, and Andrew Wells, has been singing for the last few shows. I would love to hear him sing some of their songs.

I was.consoderong going to the Boston show next week. But they had to cancel a show last night cause someone else got it. But Andrew has the voice of an angel and there are 5-6 bangers on that album. Worth listening to for sure.

@@edcasey52 Andrew does have an incredible voice. I wanted to call it commanding, but that isn't the right word. It's more like "gripping". not sure, but when he starts to sing, I felt the need to look at the person singing.

This song just lingers and lingers to me. Also not a fan of her clear vocals in this song. It picks up with the breakdown, but that one is short and the song ends with the lingering melody. Also dislike the guitar having that much distortion in general, but here it amplifies the already nagging (imo) melody. Cool visuals in the video!
