This is by far my favorite live Jinjer performance. They are they are always great, but Tatiana was just on fire with energy, and stage presence!

Jinjer is one of the hardest working bands in the business. Their touring history is extensive. They mastered their craft by putting in their 10, 000 hours. From the same concert their live version of "Words of Wisdom" (Live, Napalm Records) is excellent. (subbed)

it was fantastic! Getting to see them live after only watching them on youtube during this pandemic was surreal. They played a great balance of tracks from Wallflower mixed with a older stuff...they have so much good material that the show could have lasted twice as long.

Nice reaction my friend, yeah Jinjer is that great live. I think I mentioned this in one of your other Jinjer reactions, but you should do a double feature reaction with the studio version and their live version, and the perfect song for that is Pit of Conciousness (OMV) and live in Kiev/Kyiv, and I'm not just saying that because it's my favorite Jinjer song, well maybe I am LOL 😄😄 The point is, watching both videos will give you a real perspective on how incredible they are performing live. Looking forward to more Jinjer reactions, and as always, stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

The album is "King of Everything" This live track and the studio recording are on the album. This is one of the very rare cases where I actually like the live track better.

There's a lot I could say, so I will. This song is the rare instance of me thinking a live version is better than the studio. I'm sure having watched the video probably a hundred times has something to do with it. Tatiana literally gave 200% in this performance. On the topic of live Jinjer.... I've seen them twice, and watched all of their live videos on KZbin, including fan uploads from concerts. INSTRUMENTS: For the most part, typically, the instruments sound exactly like they do on the album, which is unreal. However, sometimes they don't, for various reasons (Bad recording from a crappy phone. Audio sound issues at the gig. Etc...), but this is uncommon. VOCALS: Tatiana's harsh/growl vocals are almost always spot on, though she has a tendency to change up the way she delivers them compared to the album version. On her cleans, those are a little more hit or miss, but that being said, even when they are off, they are usually better than most other live metal vocalists. (I'm speaking from 40 years of experience) Keep in mind her on stage antics for entertaining the crowd have to take a toll on her breathing. Also, some "live" videos have post work done to improve the vocals. The point I'm trying to get across is that while Tatiana is human and not perfect, she is easily one of the best vocalist front persons in all of metal.

forgive me for disrespecting this crowd as it might have been a while ago... but some of them seemed NOT interested at all in Jinjer.. idk. could be just me

This was shot at a local festival in Ukraine I think and it was before Jinjer was so well known. Also they were in an early slot, so the crowd was probably only half awake.

@@n0mercy_64 the band manager and bassist Eugene once answered the question about how they achieved their success: - Well we just came to any concert at any venue and gave all our best. Even if it was a small pub in a small town with 10 listeners and noone of them knew anything about Jinjer. I guess if we give all our best to the strangers the next time there will be more people and some of them will be familiar with us.
@glebivanov63233 жыл бұрын
I like to hear some small misses in vocal and instrumentals during the live concerts. Some imperfectness could beautify the sound. It make the sound more human unlike computer perfectness of the sound of some fake "live" artists.

There are three approaches a band can use to record in the studio. They can do the song instrument by instrument or they can do it in a live session or some combination of the two. In the first approach, if the guitar player for instance doesn't like their first take he can do it over. If instead it's a live session and the guitar player doesn't like what he did but everyone else does, the guitar player can't redo just their part unless everyone does. The reason is because everyone is in the same room and so his original guitar part is partially in the vocal mic and pretty much every other open mic in the room including all the drum mics. So you can ADD things to a live session recording, but whoever was playing in that room with one another has to play their part the way they wanted it to sound in that take. So you can add a second guitar part, you can add a vocal harmony but the original parts have to be there. They just get enhanced unless somebody was in a booth somewhere isolated from the other band members when they all sat down to play. With live concert recordings there are two schools of thought. One says the recording should sound like it's from the audience perspective with the audience very loud, lots of sound from the room (including annoying echoes) and most of the sound coming from mics pointed at the audience which means lower quality mix and lower quality general sound or the other being from the perspective of the band, with less audience sound and a mix that comes directly from the instruments and the mics on stage. Most of the recordings of Jinjer Live have been from their perspective which frankly I prefer. I think it's pointless to try to give the listener the concert experience with crappy phased out sound where you can't hear the vocals when the mics they use can be as expensive as they want them to be but they still don't pick up things the way your ear does at a concert.

They have so many amazing live performances. Someone said, "terrifying levels of talent", and I agree, but I think all talent is just a lucky combination of interest, access and a f*ck ton of hard work, which Jinjer has done touring almost completely nonstop from 2013 to 2020. You have to see Pit of Consciousness live in Kyiv, enjoy! ❤🖤🤘

I see that the word "live" in the Pisces' video has a tendency to cause some confusion (probably because people tend to separate it from the word "session"), so let me explain: a live session is a studio term used when a band records a song with all the members playing at the same time and in the the same room, as opposed to recording each individual parts separately and alone.

I'm not that much of a fan of the album version of WIGBTO from Cloud Factory. They completely re-composed it after their rhythm guitarist left to work with just the 3 guys and made the music much better. The ending was also more blues than reggae originally. This which is the audio version called Live At Atlas on the re-releaseof Cloud Factory.
@hemlock3993 жыл бұрын
The outro guitar solo is still very bluesy, but the riff & rhythm are reggae & the vocals are jazzy / bluesy. What a brilliant mash-up! I agree - I think this live version is better than the studio track in every way, right down to the feedback. Awesome! Yet, the studio version is also great, so it's a real testament to their skill at musical arrangement & performance that they were able to improve on it so much!

Yeah, I cant listen to the studio version anymore coz this one is so good
