Using music as a form of therapy, JINJIN can help himself, his members, their friends and family, and Aroha. For both emotional and physical release, music is the most effective vehicle. He has shown himself time and time again to be the best leader and team player, yet this is how rational thinking and emotional responding deal with life's realities. Astro, both as a group and individually, have my prayers for joy, success, and contentment. Looking forward to the day when Astro members will perform on stage together like SHINee while not being afraid to talk about their pain and missing Binnie.

I like you appreciate all the effort JINJIN putting in for all of us. I hope he knows that we are all proud of him and all the members. I still struggle to watch some Astro content but I’m not in any rush. We are all deal with loosing Binnie in our own way. the part that got me the most was "go prove yourself". when we get trapped in this place of hate and fear it is so damn paralizing. we feel were not enough, we stop doing stuff, and then we tell ourselves "see? i can't do it". telling himself and us to go out there, it really makes this song more real. not just pretty words, but real feelings. thank you for another comfort piece jinjin 💜

Damn, this is real as f*ck. I don't like rap at all, but I love the lyrics and his message so much. It's so relatable. He's expressing what so many people are feeling. I'm glad he's not keeping these things inside of him and that he's expressing them in some way. JinJin, please keep it up. This is great. Please make more songs like this. This is what the world needs.

"Life , it's not easy right" this line hit so hard , I am literally balling my eyes right now. I just know it that this song is about someone so dear to Astro, they suffered so much yet they still have the passion to stay positive and work hard. I am so grateful for this. I'm glad that JinJin could perform for Beyond the Studio, the place is perfect for the song and I believe that the atmosphere made it possible for him to really bring out the emotions during the performance. I 'm also so thankful to have the English subtitles, his lyrics are literally amazing and in this way a lot more people can relate to the song. I will cherish the sincerity of "Self-esteem", JinJin showed us his heart, he is revealing a part of himself that we are maybe not used to see, and this makes me love him even more. I hope a lot of people will recognize his talent, his hard work. ASTRO and JinJin are always able to give us hope, and even with a song like this, he was able to still give us strength.

The lyrics really resonated with me. I really want to get my confidence back, but it's been hard after so many failures, so not only can I not love myself, but I'm also starting to hate myself. It's frustrating, I didn't think I could feel this, considering I used to be such an optimistic person. But here I am. Deep down I really want to see myself shining and smiling genuinely again. So I'll keep trying. I don't know if I can do my best, but I will try not to stay still, I will keep walking. Thank you Jinwoo for this beautiful and encouraging song💜
