Watched this so many times now, honestly can see why Endangered Species won. Feel like Jinjo learned after this not to make EVERY round a routine round. Look at their battle against Found Nation in 2018 at Battle of the Year. What Found Nation does throughout most of the battle in 2018 is what Jinjo did here. Routines are sick, but it's not a routine competition, and Endangered Species threw in a good, better mix of foundational individuality and routines. Was just TOO many routines from Jinjo to give them the win outright. Then we go to the tiebreaker, and again, the same thing comes into play. Luigi might have slipped up right at the end, but his tops and foundation were better. Same with Cloud vs Wing. Wing had a chance to close it out after Luigi slipped up, but I felt he played it conservatively even if he did stick his 1990. He left the door open for Cloud to come in to actually DANCE and execute his musicality. To me, this whole battle was Jinjo shooting themselves in the foot/not closing out.

I'm one of the biggest SKMZ fans out there but, this is just painful to watch. Cloud (one of the best dancers ever) crashed on his first set and his second set was weak. Luigi crashed on the tie breaker. Jinjo's routines were all on point not to mention Wing's and FE's sets were dope. I'm telling you guys, when Wing shows his hair on battles, Jinjo seems to lose. I think Jinjo confused b with acrobatics. There's very little dancing and that's one reason why they lost. Endangered species (Skills Methodz) are musical and that's the difference between them and many other crews. They also makes everything look easy and light which it isn't. When you look at Jinjo you can see how hard it is and how much they've trained to manage it. That makes it look clumsier and less elegant. No flow, no dancing. IMA, and very educated, O ;)

Times are changing breaking is evolving. Look at the transitions/styles jinjo and other crews like them are using. Its now being adopted as common moves by many of the top crews today. That old school mentality is dying out and being looked down upon now in the community and for good reason. That mind set of you need to keep the dance the way it was is what holds bboying back. & you say it looks clumsy and less elegant well that style was just coming mainstream, it looked clumsy back when breakin first started until people practiceed with it for a while. Look now in 2015. Skill methods IMO is not better now than jinjo and I wouldn't even consider them a top 5 crew anymore. Times are changing

Skill Methodz routines had plenty of flips, and even then routines are supposed to be dynamic and consist of acrobatic stunts, otherwise why even bother with a routine. Both crews danced just as much and the only one who displayed musicality in SM was Cloud. Skill Methodz became irrelevant long ago. Look at the past years and compare the accolades of Jinjo Crew to them. Jinjo has won in every major competition at least once. All I see is typical cocksucking and just the general logic of your comment shows you know shit all about breaking and its art let alone its evolution. You are the textbook definition of an eboy.
