That really was my immediate takeaway, as well. Like for starters acknowledging that he wasn't TOO familiar with the Drag Race franchise, and absolutely graciously rolling with the punches on the straight-people jokes, but also being obviously prepared and engaged and professional while having a laugh. By that point we had never seen her lip sync, and I was quite worried tbh I had no idea she was gonna win and the second last episode often seems to be when the funny iconic ones get eliminated, and Detox is pretty fierce, so watching her whip out that kick ass performance and absolutely obliterate Detox, shattering Roladox in the process, was just fucking legendary.
