Summer is definitely the best time to visit Sweden, Destinations like Gothenburg, Gotland, Öland, HAlmstad and Vadstena but we also have good destinations for the winter such as skiing in Sälen or Åre, ICE hotel in Jukkasjärvi and we have the northern light in Abisko.

We have a tradition here in Sweden to crash our mighty military machines in Stockholm when everybody is watching. The Wasa ship sank on it´s maiden voyage 1627 and 366 years later in 1994 we all watched the JAS 39 Gripen jetfighter we built crash and burn on an island in the smack middle of Stockholm.
