siratthebox the reason why the arrow killed him is because the arow was an arow made to kill the dragon and there was only 4 of the arrows made and the man's father tried to kill smaug but all he did was knock off the scale over smaug's heart and the man got the last a row and shot the dragon in the heart. So that arrow was not just enay old arrow it is made of dwarf iron so it can peers the dragon's scales. If you don't understand this watch all 3 hobbit movies then you will understand.

Great video. But that arrow was the luckiest shot ever. I don't care how good of an archer you are, the chances of hitting that small opening with a fast moving dragon are a bit low. Honestly I would've let him destroy Laketown, I mean that's the ONLY place he said he was going after so really no major damage done.
