“Get away from my dad’s ex-girlfriend!” Can we take a moment to appreciate how Jinora gives Lin a designation that connects her to Jinora’s family in some way? Sure just being “dad’s ex” isn’t great but Tenzin and Lin didn’t exactly maintain a close friendship after the breakup so Tenzin’s kids don’t call her Aunt Lin, and I highly doubt godparents/godkids are a thing in the Avatar universe (would we even recognize an equivalent term as such?)
