He defeats the giant snake and then D-Rank boss and in episode 5 we don't know how long its been but at least 2 days since those events and he goes "Oh yeah I didn't spend my ability points yet". Showing that he doesn't have to redeem what he gets immediately and then we get the much more obvious payoff in this episode.

But he also has Status Recovery skill that he can stockpile and use during abysmal conditions. Idk,why they skimmed over that,but JinWoo in general,has Kandiaru's Blessing that helps him neutralise all the status effects,poison,illnesses and whatnot.

Yeah most of them, including Jinwoo, think he got a second awakening, but it was already explained in the anime (ep 2 and 3) that the second awakening is instant power up, but his score magic level was still the same 10 points So basically from what we've seen in the anime we can conclude that instead of reawakening he just got that "system" that will be more well explained later in the show.

The anime messed up the translation. In the Manhwa the system told him to KILL the 6 people. That's why he was given the skill of murderous intent (aka bloodlust in the manhwa). I hope this helps explain why he killed them
