(not a manhwa reader) i totally did not expect this level of intent from Jinwoo, at all! i was thinking he was just gonna kill them. simple and plain, just stabbing dudes! what Jinwoo did, simply put, was one of the hypest moments in anime, for me! the words he said, the way he moved, the way he killed. their was just something different going on. 10/10 from me, like omg, that was crazy.. i watched that 5 times over already. who knew they were walking into a slaughter fest omg... im hyped for more yoooo...

The cut away scenes are not in the manwha, but I welcome these kind of creative liberty. We got much sooner character introductions compared to the manwha but it helps to give other more build up as well as give the world extra detail/explanation. Murderous intent = bloodlust or killing intent in source material

While they both are the pinnacles of strength in their respective worlds, I enjoyed Gojo’s carefree nature as it was a fun aspect of his character to watch and understand why he acts like that. And I like how Jinwoo is very different from that, trying to have a cheerful smile, to getting so serious the stronger he gets, as he begins to lose a part of himself the longer he works with this system. Basically I think both characters can be enjoyable for different reasons and shouldn’t be compared

If A1 nailed this adaptation any harder they'd be able to build a house with it I think. Hmmmm... I suppose "Boss" is one way to translate what he was calling Jin Woo but it wasn't the direct translation which something more like older brother that I really really respect. I see that they made Jin Woo one word, I wonder if that's the correct way to do it of they pulled a "from Robert Bruce Banner to Robertbruce Banner" type of thing (it's the only example I could think of that wouldn't end being somewhat insulting to various regions).

Pretty solid ep!! I heard people complain about that they wanted them to go little bit more HARD for this episode but it was fine like it had some really good cuts and the animation/art looked consistent. Now we saw everything from the lastest trailer that we got last year right? Makes senses since we're half way so curious to see how the 2nd half is gonna look like.

The skill is still called bloodlust for me (my opinion also thats what its called in the manhwa also) thats a better name for it also the "Drain" effect should have been bleed instead and the killings where more brutal in the manhwa I feel like wich I would have liked here, still a good episode though.

Bruh the only reason I say solo leveling is it has a massive fan base that have been waiting to see it animated. It doesn’t have the best story, however knowing that the Crunchyroll awards are essentially a popularity contest if A1 can keep the animation quality high then I think fans will vote like crazy for it.

@@Ssjutsu btw, until now, most of the action scenes were animated by the same 3-4 animators, they had each 5-6 cuts already in 6 eps and the director of SL didn t animate anything yet, so they re keeping the better staff for this half of the cour we're going into; in like 2 eps i believe we will see even higher quality

I don't know if you've seen it already, but I'd recommend you watch Sword Art Online. It's also animated by A1, and the final seasons (Alicization) go harder than most other anime I've seen, animation and plot-wise. All the previous seasons are pretty good as well imo, just with some divisive aspects to it that turn some people off, but I think you'd enjoy it.

They did different then the Manhwa for the killing. It's 8 kills not 6 & Sung kill the mage first as he magic is annoying and kill him in pieces then finish with the other. Feel like you already read the manhwa abit before i am right? 😄
