I believe Jinx was created as a result of trauma, guilt, and being lied to to protect her. And this idea can be reinforced because she proclaimed herself as Jinx in the end following Silco’s death because it was too much for her to bare.

They did Jinx’s psychosis so painfully beautifully. I was worried they’d take the modern Harley approach. Thankfully, they didn’t. It wasn’t a quirk; it wasn’t funny. Her psychosis had a purpose beyond “look at the crazy bad gurl!” It hurt to see her in so much pain, being torn apart by her own mind. She just wanted to be whole. 😢

This song imo meshes very very well with the show and esp with jinx. And Idk whether or not the list of songs for season 2 has been made/finalized yet but regardless of if it has or not I feel like Halsey should do a song for the show at one point (be it this upcoming season or a future one), I think her voice and style would work very well with it and I don't think it's just a one-time thing specific to this song that it just happens to work well I think its more so her as an artist more specifically.
