When you live near the sea, it is probably much to humid for your candy to harden. I know it because I once tried to dry mint leafs in a city by the sea, it was a failure. One of my aunties lived in a dry region, it took 30 min to get dry mint leafs. I would try it in Bridy's outback home.

Hi Jinyyy I'm a big fan I'm from Malaysia A few tips for crystal candy I made this one time, u have to sun dry U also have to use rock suger I used rock suger it works Oh yeah in Malaysia it's boiling hot outside so it me only a lil time Maybe 4 u it'll take longer I think that's all Good luckkk Btw don't think your failing everyone learn from mistakes

I think it didn’t work because you need to use agger agger powder and let it sit to crystallize on the outside for a while. I think you have to wait for about a week and I know it’ll take a while, but it will be worth it in the end! Hope this helps.❤

jiny you are using the wrong type of gelly. You have to use agar agar hard jelly version ( vegan version) otherwise it will definitely fail.
