Please help with this.. My friend gave me this product, before giving it to me, he tried in his car with his contact no., now when he gave this to me, i am not able to register my car, as when i scan the qr code of IMEI no., it says device is already registered with another no., its been a week, i am not getting any help from jio aswell. Your friend has given you the device after registering it with his own number. In this condition, ask your friend to first login to Jio Thing app with his same number. After that, your friend should again plug this device into the OBD port of his car and deactivate his registered number with the help of the app. After that you will be able to activate your number from this device and will be able to use this device by logging in to Jio Thing app with your car details.. 💐😊 plz subscribe and support thank you ❤️

Once you register your number with this device, you have to deactivate the first number to change the new number. For that, follow the steps given below on your Jio Thing app. Go to MyVehicles Dashboard b) Tap on vehicle information icon on the vehicle status bar to display Vehicle Profile details c) Tap on Deactivate button next to SIM Status d) This will redirect you to Jio.com page where you can proceed to deactivate the existing plan for your JioMotive JCR 1440 device by choosing the device paired already. We highly recommend to not deactivate your JioMotive JCR, as once deactivated, you will have to visit your nearest JC to get it reactivated at a cost. This device is made to be registered with a single number due to security reasons Because of this, you cannot activate a new number without deactivating the registered number first...💐🙏🙂

No, this device will use your phone's data for wifi network, if your data is exhausted then the wifi facility will stop because the data plan of Jio Motive device is different which is used to trace the health of the car and to recharge it you use the Jio Things app, this device already has an eSIM which is limited to being registered only with your mobile SIM number, here you can use this device as a high speed router for wifi by using your mobile's data plan..This is not a broadband connection which will keep giving you 24 hours internet facility on annual subscription, hope you have got the answer now.💐💐
