'Jit II' for Samulnori(2023/2024)_MinJoon CHOI

'Samulnori' is very impressive music jenre for many reasons.
Firstly, within the scope of our recognition, it is 'the most recently created traditional music',
Secondly, it is the most recently established 'tradition' arrangement. Like the string quartet of Western music, so to speak.
Thirdly, it is the music that has the most intense sound compared to the number of people in the organization of Korean traditional music.
Finally, it is not an individual instrument, but a super-instrument, that is, music in which four people move like a single instrument.
These points gave me a strong incentive to compose for samulnori.
