Yeh hai Gaya ka societal environment, poore Bihar se alag. He speaks positively of many upper caste people starting from his college days who supported him through his journey and I can second that. Gaya Town has a very much caste neutral social fabric. That's why all the districts of Bihar witnessed violent caste conflicts during 90s but Gaya didn't.

After a long time I could hear a politician talk so openly about his journey. Most important part of this interview was his honesty. But Saurabh ji , one small complaint. You shouldn't have cut him short. When you interview Bollywood actors, you tend to be very liberal with your time and schedule. With Manjhi ji , you looked in a hurry. He comes across as an honest gentleman. Kindly do one more interview with him. Such people must be given more time

It was one of the best interviews I have seen on The Lallantop Platform. Saurabh bhai was top notch and so was former CM Manjhi. He was unequivocal in his thoughts and his stance is pretty strong. I was one of them you used to see him as a rubber stamp CM but I was wrong. I am amazed to even think about a boy who was working as a laborer becoming a CM , it sounds like a movie , isn't it??? His father thought of teaching one of his kids was like a gamble, which actually paid off. It's quite a story and I guess a movie should be made about his life.
