Hi friends! Firstly, so sorry it’s been so long since our last film in Scotland. Adam and I took some time to work on launching our new Podcast (something we wanted to do for 2 years but were too scared to try!), as well as finally launching our Jits merch (another project that was on the back burner because we doubted that anyone would actually want to buy it!). Anywho, here we are, sharing with you our adventures in stunning Devon - really hope you enjoy this film. It’s one of our favourites for so many reasons. 🥰 Let us know in the comments if you’ve ever been to Devon or would visit now? And please share your Cornwall recommendations below as we will be heading there next (currently still parked on Toby’s farm as I write this ☺️). To listen to our podcast, you can click here: anchor.fm/jitsintothesunset And to shop out sustainable & ethical Jits Merch, this is where to go:www.jitsintothesunset.com/shop To join Adam in learning a new language to better connect with others on your travels, click our referral link bit.ly/JitsintotheSunset_Babbel to get 30% off for 6, 12 months, and lifetime access to Babbel 🧡 Thank you, Babbel, for supporting us as filmmakers by sponsoring this video. Lots of love as always!! 🚐💛

In Devon right now at my parents. They live in north Devon (the wild, young people part of Devon).. We walked the coastal path and climbed around the highest cliffs in England (Valley of the Rock), visited and walked around Lundy Island, Clovelly, Hartland, Croyde, Ifracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, did sea kayaking, coasteering, absailing and climbing at Baggy Point, quad biking on Exmoor etc... Love being home so many fun activities to do😊. We are off down to Cornwall this week.. To visit a few places we have never been until now as well as old haunts😊. Looking forward to this and your nexte vlogs! 😊

Hi Beverley, thank you so much for being one of the first people to watch this film. We appreciate you being here! 💛 There is not one time watching back this part of the film that we don’t feel emotional too. I’m so proud of Adam for putting this together so beautifully. In one of our first podcast episodes we shared more of Sally’s recording and advised others consider interviewing their loved ones and recording it in the same way. It’s a very special way to be able to remember them 🌻 xx Tania

@@JitsIntoTheSunset oh I absolutely agree. I've recorded my mum recently and learned so much of her past after asking questions never before asked. I'm really into ancestry and have a transcript of a recording of my uncle. This transcript gives me info about his brother, my grandad, as a child that I would never have known had I not seen this transcript. Anyway, happy travels and keep enjoying life.

We don't comment on here much, but we watch and love all your films. This one was extra special though. Thank you Adam, for sharing your mom with us. As someone who's also lost a parent it must be so nice to have that footage to look back on, but also hard to watch at times (let alone share). Her joy and love for life was inspiring. 💕

Hello, thanks for your lovely message! 😌 it is really nice to have the footage, and the audio recording. The whole recording is over an hour long! It’s an interview I did with her after her diagnosis and it’s something that’s so special to have. I remember that mum once told me that she couldn’t remember what her mums voice sounded like, that’s what inspired me to recorded hers & I’m so glad I did. Thanks again for your message and for sharing. Losing a parent is very hard and I’m sorry to hear it’s something you’ve been through. Being able to share a part of how she saw life is actually really nice and helps me keep her memory alive. Sending love 🚐 Adam

@@JitsIntoTheSunset Yes, I don't remember my dad's voice really. Phrases, moments, his laugh I can recall at times. But I would love to hear his voice candidly like this. So special to have captured, and I'm glad you remembered her sharing that so you can have this.

You can swim with seals in north Devon to, especially on Lundy Island. Glad you had fun! North Devon is stunning to! And wilder than South Devon. I'm visiting my parents in North Devon a present after 3 yrs covid. We have been all over eg Clovelly, Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, Valley of the Rocks, Westward Ho! Appledore, Instow, Hartland, Croyde, Baggy Point, Lundy Island, etc doing loads of activities including absailing and climbing, sea kayaking, coasteering, quad biking, crabbing etc.. It's been great. Cornwall is beautiful to.. So much to do there. Depends what you like.. Typical places to visit are the tin mines, lost Gardens of Heligan, Menack Theater, St Michaels Mount, King Authurs Castle, St Ives, Falmouth, etc. But there are so many more less usual places, which I love even more! You will Enjoy... Whatever you do. Lovely vlog!

Literally just came across this video as I'm parked on the Embankment up near the higher ferry. My Gran used to own The Old Customs House in Bayards Cove and I grew up spending most days down there playing around the fort. Excellent coverage of the beautiful town I also grew up in a couple of decades before you did. I've split the last couple of months between here and Dartmoor, just enjoying life and the freedom a campervan gives.

Hey Tony! 👋🏼 Thanks so much for tuning in. Glad we didn’t miss out on joining us in Devon. ☺️ Strange about KZbin… make sure your notifications are set to ‘all’ and that way you should definitely get a little ping when we post. Otherwise if notifications are tuned on but not to ‘all’, KZbin chooses to notify you or not. 😳 xx Tania

Great video as always. Recommendation on learning a language is learn something different from Tania. That way you’ll both be able to communicate in different locations/with different people. Just a thought!

Hi guys. See you in Cornwall maybe lol. Well we will keep a look out for you on our travels. We base ourselves in Padstow and travel out we know some good free parking spots out the way from hussle and bustle . Love the kayaking section as I'm big on my kayaking and the family too. Great seal experience we've had similar visit while on the Helston paddling out to the sea. Love the stuff you do follow your travels especially in places we have visited too. Missed the Cuba one but will watch up on it soon as myself and my wife loved it there over 10 years ago. Love the van life maybe one day I will be brave enough too. Cheers guys keep up the good work. Kev the kayaker from Brinklow..

We have just enjoyed the last half hour with Darren's parents watching your journey through Devon. Thanks for sharing the footage of your amazing mother Adam. A True Legend, and that strength and explorer way of life, and her gift to you, lives on in the both of you. Thank you both. Safe travels.

Jits will make it to Athens. Love this Devon video and the amazing swimming with seals. Had many happy holidays in Devon. We always look out for seals on our coastal trips and living in Wales often see them especially at Mwnt, New Quay and Bardsey Island. Really moving to see the bit with your Mum and hear her voice ❤️

Hello Alyana, Aww thanks so much 😌 that’s very kind of you. We definitely hope our channel will grow over time, but, if we don’t compare ourselves to the massive channels then it’s actually amazing to think that almost 30 thousand people have seen this film 😱 and it’s amazing to get messages like yours from people who appreciate them 😊 so thanks so much! This video is of course particularly special to me because of the clips with mum. 🚐 Adam
