I once read another Insomnia 's explanation which i think is the best : they are a sitcom fami,y. Jiu is the cool and calm dad, SuA is the hyper mom, Siyeon is the eccentric aunt, Handong is the distant overseas cousin who is studying in Korea, Yoohyeon is the rebellious oldest sister, Dami the brilliant middle child, and Gahyeon the beloved baby.

I look at this as a family with two kids (Dami, Gahyeon), a cat (Handong), a dog (Yoohyeon), and a confused wolf that they somehow domesticated (Siyeon). Also Jiu is the dad by default because of all her dad jokes. 😂

Jiu is definitely the parent- leader, dad jokes, tries to control the chaos and fails often. SuA does help to care for the younger members… when she is not aiding in the chaos. While Jiu and SuA would be the “parents” they can definitely be kids too: I.e “fake Maknae” Jiu and “Chaos enabler” SuA. Siyeon- the homebody child Handong- savage child Yoohyeon- problem child Dami- just wants to be in her room and read or something. Will help cook when it involves a grill. Gahyeon- boss baby

I always thought JiU was a dad. SuA. 100% mother Siyeon. the cool aunt that lets you do stuff your parents won’t let you do HanDong, the rich aunt that takes you shopping Yoohyeon, the oldest daughter that wishes she was the youngest Dami. The middle child, who's fine with being the middle child because everyone leaves her alone Gahyeon. youngest child who runs the house

Yup it's official, i love it when that parents chemistry just start showing off with the members take the role model with Jiu as the "dad" that being so chill, always ask the "kids" day, at certain time give some her "dad joke"😅😂😂😂😂, Sua as the "mom" that always nags alot😅, always take care of the "kids" like make sure that the "kids" clean up their clothes, don't make to much noise while at the dorm, eat their vitamin n finally the "kids" along with their "wolf"😅😅🤣🤣🤣, always gonna listen to their "parents" advice😁.
