Top stuff Joe, thanks for breaking it down. JJ is simple at times as you say but he still has a lot going on. Love the rhythm and space in his music. Always lived his music since my student days, now after a year of guitar lessons you afford me the pleasure of playing his music! Thanks for your effort.

Joe, I hope you are still going strong on youtube. I've only recently (8/2016) discovered you.. I find it very hard to sing and strum at the same time when there is a difference in tempo between the singing and strumming. Do you have any advice in this regard; you seem to have no problem with this. (Thanks. Dave in Charlotte, NC)

You sound good but get a mic on your singing voice, can't hear it enough. I know JJ Cale was quiet but you don't have to be.
