Check out 2:00. The bass line has a big ascending slide, and the bass player's hand isn't moving. I wouldn't be surprised if the band is playing along, but the actual live mix is more pre-recorded tracks then the actual live playing. It sounds like the exact bass line on the recording note for note. I'm not saying the dude's can't play, I'm sure they're killin. It's clear the singers are doin it live, at least the lead vocal.
