My 60 years is all spent in Michigan except when I was in the military. I bleed Maze and Blue and love Honolulu Blue and Silver. I wish JJ was picked by an AFC team but the vikings snatched him smartly. JJ is a legend in the Mitten state, so it's going to be tough for the foreseeable future in the NFC. He'll always have ML&R from me for the Natty, but I obviously am a Lion too. Wish him a long healthy career, just fall short when he plays the Blue and silver. The Vikings will be my next team if my Lions are out, solely because of JJ, the same as it was for Brady. Good Luck JJ. GO LIONS🦁🏈

Big JJ fan here. He has every tangible and Intangible tool to be successful; also a great situation at Minnesota for a young qb. He is a coachability and driven to success machine. HOWEVER, the hype is a little hyperbolic. He really will need to mature for a year, even Mahomes needed that. Physically he is tougher than he looks, but hell, he wasnt even old enough after winning the Natty to buy himself a beer! Let him develop a year please.

JJ has stated that one of the most important things he's learned from former players is their regret for not using the tools provided to them to their fullest. This means the coaches and the like. So JJ spams questions to fully understand everything and be on the same page as the coach as well as learn what can be learned. This extends to the idea of time and coaching during that time. I'm fully in the camp that he will sit out at least a full year (barring exigent circumstances that call him up sooner than expected), in order to learn as much as he can and utilize this opportunity and resources at his disposal
@MaxPowersCFB5 ай бұрын
@@LDPofclan935 Do you really think Sam Darnold is going to keep JJ on the bench? Come on you don't take a QB in the 1st round to have him sit for a year. JJ will be fine and it is not that he needs to mature for a year because he already is mature in the ways a QB needs to be mature. The thing is we fall in love with these QBs because we see them throw so many times in college but a lot of that is mostly just screens and passes 5 to 10 yards with big plays sprinkled in. Trust me in the situations you need to your QB to excel in , JJ excels. 3rd down and 7+ is the money down for a QB and that is what JJ is a master at only seen Mahomes do better. Caleb Williams is good as well but it is not as structured as JJ which is impressive in it's own way. Sam Darnold is not keeping this job from JJ. This is Michigan all over again with Cade vs JJ to be the starter in 2022. It's biblical and if Darnold's compete level is not there then JJ will crush them. That's the type of QB you are getting with a calm demeanour and contagious personality.
