The great thing about Broussard is how much battery life I save whenever I’m listening to one of his many, many podcasts/shows. I can mute my phone, put it in the glovebox of my car, take the elevator to the ninth floor of my building, go inside my apartment and turn on the TV, stereo and vacuum cleaner, go into the bathroom, stuff cotton balls into my ears, go to my bedroom, put two pillows over my head, lock myself inside the closet and I can still hear every word he says, just as clear as day.

The main difference is that Riley had a background and coaching he had done it before. And he earned his way through the organization to get to that head spot per Jerry West. JJ Reddick never played for the Lakers has no coaching in his background doesn’t even have a winning pedigree in his background. But he’s gonna come in and be the next Riley? That’s all hype. JJ Reddick just sounds like he knows who he’s talking about, but there are no players out there who are respecting him no finals appear in his career no conference titles. So why is he being considered for the job over a Mark Jackson, Jacques Von, Or even Frank Vogel to return since Phoenix doesn’t want him. The real problem is is that it’s not the coach it’s the players. A 40 year old basketball player cannot play defense the same way a 23-year-old can. LeBron is two ball in it and too old to be a factor of the court . Davis is too soft and willing to take a backseat to LeBron to do. The rest of the team can’t stay healthy and you’re letting LeBron run your franchise. You’ll never win with that formula. These are the most games Anthony Davis has ever played in his career and you still got a eliminated. The Lakers have to regroup, get rid of LeBron and start investing in your future. JJ Reddick is your future. He won’t be any better than Luke Walton.

Chris needs to stop talking about the few who succeeded and talk about the hundreds who do not. The likelihood that JJ Reddick is a successful coach on the nba level, without any coaching experience, at all, is miniscule. Trying to grease JJ Reddick's path to coaching is pathetic. Saying someone's a good coaching candidate because they sound like they know what they are talking about is asinine logic. You wouldn't go to a doctor.... you wouldn't go on a flight.... you wouldn't risk your life in the hands of anyone with NO EXPERIENCE AT ALL. It's ridiculous.

If they think Darvin Hamm did a really good job then neither of them should ever be NBA GMs. If the Lakers hire JJ Reddick then Pelinka needs to go next.
