Those pickups sound great Burgs! Nice demo. I love that Partscaster as well. Awesome stuff. 👍 Have you heard of, or tried Melbourne Pickups, here in Croydon? Im curious about them as they're local. Just was unaware of them until recently.

Cheers Andrew. No, I haven't heard of the Melbourne Pickups mob. There's a few new ones popping up. I never hear of them unless they say hi or something. I'm a bit sheltered (mercifully) up here on the hill at Mt Eliza. Hermit man apart from the gigs. I love Ben's work at JJ's, though. He's very scientific, traditionally aware, but subtly progressive as well. That sort of combo produces the goods.

@@BrettKingman OK cool. Makes sense. Thanks so much for the reply and info mate. Hey that's a Great place to be a Hermit! Glad you resurface for gigs with James still. The JJs seem the biz, I may try them, as I like where they're going with the tech, vintage tones with modern tweeks. I'm also working on a Strat, upgrading the electronics on an old Japanese 62 reissue. Cheers.

Wouldn't that 'Gilmore' switch be better adding the neck to the bridge only when the bridge is engaged. Then you'd have the option of leaving it 'on' and still use N NM and M. Though I've never wired up this way... I have a Neck to Bridge switch that will add which ever is not engaged unless you're in the middle and a blend (pot instead of switch) version of that wiring in another guitar which I prefer.
