He has, like, 3 problematic links AT MOST in his combo and they're quite passable later on when you get better. If you just learn those links and the important starters you won't have a problem with it. I'd say Kak's BNB is about the same difficulty as Jot's.

Unfortunately, tandems are based more on your personal timing than a standard rule. Basically, you're going to have to practice and do some trial and error with your timing so you can combo into, through, and out of your tandems. Generally, most people with most characters piano ABC as fast as they can repeatedly during the tandem flash, either jump over or roll through the enemy, and then spam 2A on the other side. Afterwards, you can usually combo out of a tandem by landing a jump attack into a combo, or for a few characters, they have options that lead to better damage or oki, ie. Iggy, where you generally 6B into raging demon super.
