What if your coil is bad? How do you know if it’s the coil or the spark box?

What if the car runs for a certain period of time and it shuts off but starts right back up? When it shuts off the box flashes 5 times. I've replaced everything but the box. Thanks for any advice

What tires do you have on your Lightning? And size?

I have Nitto NT555r. Rears are 305/40r18 & front are 245/45r18

Ok thanks, I got the factory rims and having a hard time finding a decent tire for it. The 275/60/17 is a rare size

Kind of surprised this works as there is no voltage on the line going into the box. That’s a pulse magnetic generator input. So. In other words, the Ford TFI distributors create an AC waveform voltage to trigger that box. I wonder if MSD set those boxes up to do that and put a small line voltage on that input. I’ll have to check into this. Thanks for sharing with others. Oh. And lastly. You’re not “grounding” the connection. You’re jumpering it.
