We've made it a mission in 2022 to try more local & independent coffee shops instead of the usual Costa & Starbucks so where better to start than right on our doorstep in Maidstone!? Let us know which one of those featured in this vlog you think would be your favourite and why. Enjoy the video :-)

We love a walk that ends at a coffee shop! It’s our mission for 2022 to try more local & independent places so we thought we would make a start!

That was a delicious iced latte and it was huge too! We don’t see kids doing the daisy chains anymore, we used to do it all the time!

Wow what a great vlog, i remember making daisy chains in Primary school on lunch break, we had a large grassy area next to the school and all the girls used to sit and make daisy chains. My favourite coffee stop would be the Old Toll, what a beautiful place Maidstone is with the canal and the cakes🤤🤤🤤. Anyway enough waffling from me. #staysafe and keep up the great vlogs xx

Great scenery and little villages. I am not a coffee drinker, it is Earl Grey Tea for me all the time! No offence but I was always a coffee drinker until we went to England and Scotland in 1995 and couldn’t get a decent coffee anywhere so we both started drinking tea over there. When we got back home my husband went back to coffee and I stayed with my tea!

Oh the coffee scene here has only really taken off in the last 10 years or so, can fully appreciate it would have been horrendous in 1995 🤣

Great vlog. I have never been a fan of Costa Coffee personally, I like to try different coffees but I don't like strong bitter coffee. That certainly was a lovely spot you found, where is it??? I know just cannot recall the name. P.S those cakes looked yummy.

The Little Old Toll House it at Allington Lock, technically just outside of Maidstone itself. We’ve made it a bit of a mission to try new coffee places this year so expect more coming soon!
