Agujas a few ft over head for several days alone in 1989. I camped at Guiones same trip and slept in a cold weather tent with endless crabs moving beneath me as I sweatly waited for daylight. We surfed a week witout another soul in front of the graveyard near the palapa. Pura Vida! I cant confirm, but was told that I stayed at your house near Negra courtesy of Coopwood! such a great video :) firstly, the cat cameo was a highlight for me, as always :) secondly, was that mommy Alex in the driveway in the cap and shorts? if so,that was another highlight for me :) (if it was not her, then not a highlight :) thirdly, that fin discussion was total gold. fourthly, those boards you were carrying past the ladder from the truck, that were rounded pin 6'6"s were such beautiful blades and made me so envious. they would be so fun to surf. fifthly, its fun and inspiring to watch you charging such waves. i am even more envious of that since my already very painful 'normal' physical condition is even worse at the moment out of no where (no specific 'event' or 'injury', but immediate onset of pain), as i can barely move my arm (my various shoulder blade and shoulder muscles hurt so bad, and now worsening back and knees) and other body parts because i think i am experiencing some sort of post mild covid / long covid related myofacial / connective tissue / autoimmune response that has my body swollen, inflamed, and in agony, and thus, has me not able to even suit up and paddle around since days, but rather reclining in the car in pain after exhausting limited activity physiotherapy , thinking of how glorious life is when able to simply move body parts easily and not be in the kind of debilitating pain that has one clinching their teeth so hard that they feel as though they are cracking and disintegrating. anyway, my point is, so happy you get to have such fun and adventure, and to see some of it :)

I live 400 metres walk from the beach. Only thing is the banks down there have been rubbish for about a year. These guys on the other hand are insanely privileged to live where they do. The thing is I think they know that, and come across as humble, thoughtful, good humoured and respectful. I know their surfing is amazing, but it is the way they conduct themselves that stands out for me. Their mum did a great job bringing them up.
