Thanks for the video.... before I got my engineering degree I was a graphic artist and we did a lot of sublimation stuff we always ordered from sign warehouse...... best thing is that sub prints last forever....

Great stuff man I bought the same press I also got a jumbo on eBay but it’s broke I need to fix it. Also try silicone release paper for top bottom and between top and bottom page works great and hydro chamber is def the way to go take care brother

Thanks for the tip. Mine came in broke also. Turns out one wire came loose in shipping, after I opened the shroud it was as easy as re-connecting and back in business. I hope you're problem is an easy fix also.
Lol yeh just starting out after the whole cbcs thing I said never again so I’m practicing on junk books last couple weeks just have to hone the skill before I press anything of value take care my friend

VERY informative JJ - thanks. Most of my books im gonna press are little bit older and your typical 'news print' - what temperature used for these books? Also (from part 2) - do you sand the edge on the board you use for taking out spine tics as welll, or use flat edge for that. thanks

Hey, I’ll do a vid on pre-modern age books, but I use 185 on the older books, but once I dial it in I’ll post that vid. On the board I use just the standard board with the normal edge. It gives me that hard edge as a guide to straighten out the ticks.

Might be something on your plate. I’ve heard some people sand the plate smooth with several sandpaper’s to prep the plate.
