Dusty, Rax, and Alex all had masked that look just like there mask from the 1st season they just did something different.

Not quite - the three masks had subtle differences (Rax's more silver, Dusty's visor narrower, Alex's a darker blue) but they all did something different.

Yes, Alex Sector - my only other favourite MASK character (oh, and I'm not a fan of Max Mayhem, even if he's Miles Mayhem's brother). Unlike how I have the ability to like two of Miles Mayhem's outfits other than his Switchblade one, I definitely only like Alex Sector's season 1 outfit (where he was the owner of Boulder Hill, and, vehicles-wise - yes - I'm quoting the computer - was the 'Rhino systems commander'). I never liked his new 'Collector' gear (and, if there are any outfits of Miles Mayhem I definitely don't like, it's his 'Outlaw' one) [even *that* outfit didn't make him look like a Sergeant].

I did some research as to why season 2 was so different from season 1. In 1986 it was put out there that cartoons were too violent and needed to be toned down. Example: Looney Tunes. They could no longer show coyote and road runner because of the TNT stuff. This is why cartoons of the 80s and Saturday morning cartoons went away. The rules got too strict. So this is what the writers came up with for season 2. Once viewership dropped, they scrapped the show.

I don't know how true that it is, but it sounds extremely lame. TV cartoons were nowhere near as violent as video games from the 1980s, like Mortal Kombat (which are only comically violent compared with today's games)

I begged my mam to buy me a pair of white hi tops, or 'runner boots' as we called them in Ireland like Brad's. I didn't have many of the first generation toys, I did have Switchblade though,Vanessa and her car.. but I had Razorback and Brad... Recently looked at prices for the toys... Christ they are gone through the roof. Id love to see modern toy manufacturers have a go at MASK... I mean look how great they can make the G1 Transformers... MASK was a very awesome concept and if I ever came into money I'd get big collections of Turtles, MASK, G1 Transformers and Toy Biz Xmen

If only the creators showed us Vanessa's feet (especially if we could see Gloria's, like in one of the PSAs, which Scott and T-Bob were in, about using sunblock). I'm aware Vanessa was a villain, but she'd still have had *nice* feet (I'm aware Cobra's Baroness wasn't one of the worst villains, but I like how we got seeing hers in the episode 'the Gamesmaster', where she has nice toes).

I am more fan of the Hasbro's G1 Transformers, but I have to say I love Stinger, both as car and tank mode. Now that Kenner is proprietà of Hasbro they could make a MASK/ G1 Transformers crossover, since Kenner created MASK toy line by taking inspiration from Hasbro's G.I. Joe and G1 Transformers toy lines.

I can't get over how stupid & unimaginative this show suddenly got in the second season. Such a shame. This show was so much smarter than G.I. Joe, Transformers & all the others. I guess they didn't feel the need to maintain the high quality of scripts since the bar was set so low by those other shows.

@@trevorbrown_artist Now, I like the second season of M.A.S.K.; although out of the two seasons, I think it's the weakest one, I can't help but find myself enjoying it when I watch it. To me, it's a guilty pleasure. Yes, it's probably not very good as Season 1, but it is really entertaining, and I find that as time passes, it grows on me more and more; so I will always have a soft spot for Season 2. Anyway, my point is I think all M.A.S.K. fans will find enjoyment out of M.A.S.K. Season 2. I also think it's universally agreed that it's not a perfect season and it does have its problems, but I think it's also agreed that it has its enjoyment elements too. I say to everyone, go into the second season of M.A.S.K. not expecting Mission Impossible-like adventures like the first season, but rather crazy oddball racing adventures with crazy oddball characters.

@@RoyStantz Yeah Roy I am a fan of the show and I you couldn't give me my own T-Bob to make me like S2, it was such an abrupt change. I mean I realize at the end of the day, it was supposed to sell toys. But Transformers managed to tell passable stories and still sell toys. The racing thing didn't do it for me, it worked on Pole Position because it was based on a racing video game. But MASK was a fight between good and evil not just a car race, it sort of neutered all of the weapons in each of the vehicles because they couldn't fully be used in a race as they were in the faux battles of S1.

@@trevorbrown_artist Eh, lots of cartoons in the 80's were designed to sell toys (this, Transformers, G.I. Joe, He-Man, ThunderCats, TMNT '87, Real Ghostbusters). The racing thing actually does it for me, because M.A.S.K had to freshen things up a little, and it's best to turn your brain off and just enjoy it. Also, the original Transformers cartoon has been overshadowed by Transformers Prime in terms of deep storytelling, just like how Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 was overshadowed by both the 2003 and 2012 versions.
