I don't know what's more bizarre about the "racing M.A.S.K. episodes" . . . . 1. A bunch of characters NOT appearing (Bruce, Hondo, Gloria, Cliff Dagger, etc) . . . heck there are even episodes where Matt and Miles don't appear 2. V.E.N.O.M. agents doing the PSA's at the end of the episodes

I know exactly how you *feel* about VENOM doing some of the PSAs (then again, it could be to emphasise that sometimes, even if villains are bad, they still want to be cautious how *far* they go).

Season 2 was a partial reboot they knew each other and racing worked as a way to further each groups interests.

11:19 the pilot flying Vampire(Floyd "Birdman" Malloy) made the best and correct decision. With Goliath spinning, the width of the potential impact zone increased dramatically. If Floyd "Birdman" Malloy flew Vampire into that like Miles Mayhem wanted, both he and Trakker would have had both their vehicles obliterated in mid-air and they would have both been killed. Malloy's decision saved his own life and Trakker's.

The Peregrine Falcon+ YOU are wrong and you are wrong about 2 important things: One: If you follow the firepower sound pattern and heights from the start of the shooting sequence(Buzzard's Drone's Slicer Cannon was on top, Vampire's Boomerang Atom Blaster was on the bottom)... Buzzard's Drone's Slicer Cannon and Vampire's Boomerang Atom Blaster sound differently, fire at different RPM, and are firing at two different heights 10:37 until Trakker makes a move. More importantly in this proof's validation, Buzzard's Drone's Slicer Cannon's projectiles are TRIANGULAR, and Vampire's Boomerang Atom Blaster's projectiles are ROUND[As evidenced when paused at 10:26]. ) Now, Pause at 10:38, switch the watching speed to 0.50 and watch all the way until a fraction of a second before 10:41. You can clearly see the Slicer Cannon's TRIANGULAR projectiles are lined up to strike Goliath's left wing and then they do! THAT is what hit Goliath. So, Floyd DIDN'T get Trakker('the kill') as he claimed... Two: Floyd couldn't confirm the kill because... 11:17 - 11:18 Miles said to Floyd, "Go in after him, Birdman!" THAT would have done exactly what I said above. If Floyd went to "go in after him(Trakker)" as Miles said: that would have killed Floyd and Trakker because both Goliath and Vampire would have been obliterated instantly. That would have been SUICIDE. Floyd knew that Miles made the WRONG call which would have led to the worst case scenario of DOUBLE FATALITIES! By realizing Miles was wrong and analyzing the situation correctly, Floyd saved his own life. Floyd may be a Venom lackey and willing to take risks, but he isn't stupid enough to do something that would kill himself with 100% certainty. Miles couldn't see what Floyd saw, so Miles was in no position to assess the situation, as Floyd did. Sometimes, sense and logic from first hand perspective matters more than just following orders.

If you agreed that Floyd should have killed himself and Trakker, that would have ended the M.A.S.K cartoon series immediately. It would have shown terrible judgement by adults and a double death in an extremely popular cartoon series for young - older kids. Parents would have had a fit and complained. Not a good idea.

What stupidity. Did they change the writer for season 2? What happened to Scott and T-Bob? Has Scott finally joined school or has he grown up? MASK and Venom having communication with each other and they know both their identities! Strange n too much weird. And in the end, Venom is giving social message! Total Stupid.

Scott appeared in three PSAs for season 2 (in 'Cliffhanger' - about if you smell gas, in 'For One Shining Moment' - about the dangers of leaving dogs unattended in cars, especially in the scorching weather, and in 'High Noon', which was even T-Bob's one and only appearance in the racing series, who didn't even speak one line - about wearing helmets). At least the viewers could appreciate not having to listen to Scott and T-Bob, by the time this season came to air (and, with the season 1 episodes, where people have left comments, saying about how much they hate Scott and T-Bob, and now they miss them? I don't get it). In this season, Scott and T-Bob were restricted to PSAs.

Again, me and David315842 have talked about why (very unusually) VENOM would, sometimes, do the ‘end of episode morals’, which were always safety themed. VENOM doing them possibly shows how disorderly the racing series could be.

The strange thing is I had this episode and Demolition Duel to the Death on VHS. What made it strange was that the order of play for the Episodes was wrong. The first episode on the tape was Where Eagles Dare which is Epsode 67, and the next was Demolition Duel to the Death which was Episode 66.... How could DIC Enterprises, but more importantly, KENNER.. get this wrong and not notice it?! The same thing occurred with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons on VHS. I had the first two episodes. Episode 2 was shown first, and then Episode 1 followed after... WTH?!

I know - I don't know *why* these two episodes (on the first 'Golden Vision' UK 80s VHS release) [yes, the 'Golden Book Video' release] were changed over (this one was first, and 'Demolition Duels to the Death' - the first racing series episode - was the second one]. I don't know if David315842 would know the answer to that.
