I wonder if there is a company that will make custom mix LP's, with a few of your favorite songs from different bands, like a mix tape! You could probably make a true copy in resin from that because you have a unique LP. As long as you don't intend to sell it, it should be fine just to own it.

I've wanted to get a record player for the aesthetic but I really only listen to digital..

I mean that’s one of the major reasons people still buy vinyl. The two biggest reasons are aesthetic and experience. Owning and collecting vinyls, playing them on a turntable, is a much more kinetic experience than listening to digital music. Ppl who say they only listen to vinyls because they sound better.....are pretty biased. They don’t sound better. In the past, sure. But these days music is recorded digitally, everything is done digitally and whatever is converted into the vinyl is less faithful to the original recording.

@@Denturess well I personally prefer digital because I like to jump around, change albums, change artists, change the mood, it's not very easy to do with vinyl or cds. Definitely been thinking about getting a few but they'd get very little play out of them. I think you can have a kinetic experience with any form of music, put the disc on the turntable, sliding a disc in dvd player, turning the knob on a radio, and in my experience opening the music app of my choice picking the song and then turning the screen off. What was your first record, do you have any tips?

@@cerisemin when I say it’s a more kinetic experience I mean collecting vinyls and owning a turntable is much more expensive and arduous to upkeep. It does actually require you to have a routine. I guess with a stereo it also needs that to a degree but listening to a CD doesn’t require that much care. I also prefer digital. Personally I gain no merits from owning vinyls, they don’t sound better to me and I don’t care to spend that much money on them just bc they look cool. I’m poor lmao. I just researched them both a little bit so I’m here saying this. I’ve seen too many hipsters say they listen to vinyls when in reality it’s just sitting on their wall and their turntable collects dust. The only tips I can offer are don’t get “pretty Pinterest” turntables like the ones they sell at typo or the Crosby ones. Also don’t get turntables with in built speakers bc they are poorer quality. If you have a shitty turntable it can actually damage your records.

@@Denturess I still believe having a physical copy of a song is still higher quality since a lot of streaming services will compress the music for faster downloads. Although it depends on which service you’re using, I still tend to trust a copy made straight from the company.

단순 소장 목적이라면 본인이 구입한 음악이나 소설 등은 복제해도 불법이 아니라고 알고 있었는데....물론 유포나 판매를 결코 하지 않는 경우의 이야기입니다. 예를 들어 음악 파일을 적법한 경로로 구입했는데, 그걸 컴퓨터에도 넣어두고 싶고 MP3에도 넣어두고 듣고 싶어 복사해서 자신 소유의 PC와 MP3에만 넣어두고 타인에게 팔거나 유포하지 않는 이상은 불법이 아니라는 것...유포하거나 파는 순간 얄짤없이 불법. 그런 것으로 알고 있는데 혹시 제가 틀렸나요?

복제하는것 또한 불법으로 알고있습니다 다만 우리나라에서는 음악이나 영화는 사적이용 가능의 대상으로 포함하고 있으니 처벌 대상이 아닌것 뿐이지 불법을 맞습니다 근데 이건 LP를 복사 한게 아닌데 왜 블라인더 처리 된건지 잘 모르겠네요 + 엥 블라인드 처리 된 영상은 LP자체를 복사하셨던건가요 노래나오게?? 그럼 블라인드처리 먹어도 할말 없는데요
