If you pause frame by frame in 1:20 you'll see that JB was positioned to the left of Jinyoung, not to the front. If he were to twist his body to make that water splash, it was never meant to reach Jinyoung's face. In one of the frame in 1:20, JB's body is twisted and is already diagonal to Jinyoung's position. He was no where near him.
