Hey mate wow great video the break down of the difference between the two at the start was very very well done great editing and very well explained! Not having much luck with the GoPro mate it’s a worry. Don’t think they could make the body shell any thinner 😂

Thanks Michael👍 Yes I thought since they are different electronics/motor I would at least mention that as it will make a slight difference in performance and capabilities. Yes the shell is so thin and flimsy🥴 Hot days my GoPro plays up heap now but it still working ok on 1080p so that will have to do for now👌

Good video. Nice little buggy. At first I thought that the truggy front bumper was going to look cartoony. I think it looks great though. Bummer about the drive cup breaking.

Thanks Tim🙂 Yes it's always a mystery how some of these cars would look with specific parts, I thought exactly the same as you with the bumper, didn't think it would suit it as well as it does👌 Definitely comes in handy when I'm driving aswell😆

I am very happy with the brushed version of this buggy, called the SCY 16201 - JJRC was the first to bring out the SCY, but not sure what the JJRC model number for my SCY 16201 is.

Hi, nice video - if you have the time to give some advice, it would be much appreciated 💪 I bought the truggy q117b from banggod - took the car out wouldnt really turn but would run forwards and backwards. After a few minutes all connection lost to remote - flashing lights, no connection. I am guessing its the receiver/part I need to change? Do you know of any substitute part available on amazon? Cheers 🤸

Thank you! It does sound like a faulty 2in1 esc/receiver. Definitely just replace it with the same one. Because it's a 2in1 board you can only use the stock controller for them, if you change the 2in1 you will need a stand alone esc and then a hobby grade controller and matching receiver.

To be fair the truggy version I reviewed had basically no issues so maybe there are a few defective parts out there. They are capable and very fun but there are definitely better options on the market. Thanks for watching mate👍

Teacher, could you guide me about this GPS that you use, is there a way I can take measurements of it en route to put it in a video? What do you use is the SKYRC GSM020? Can you tell me if it is possible in the SKYRC gsm015 version to pull this data from a computer?

The GSM015 is the old version and I don't think it is compatible with a pc or phone, you see the info directly on the gps display screen. The new GSM020 is app base so it runs via the Skyrc app. Both work great but the 020 version does have some issues at times, satellites dropping out and loosing signal.

I'm actually not sure what gps system you need to do that? I think I've seen people use their gopros as they have a gps function I believe. You may be able to take the files from the 020 version somehow but I'm not the right person to ask about that stuff sorry🤦

Thanks! If you mean the 3s then it's a ZEEE 850mah 100c 3s lipo, im having a hard time finding them now but basically all the little 650 to 850mah should fit no issue.

100% go with the brushless version, the brushed one has plastic gears and driveshafts so quite weak. The brushless one is very strong 💪

Nvm. It's the only model I see at 850 mah. 11.1v dude thanks for uploading this content. Starting out cheap with my son to hopefully build a hobby together. Love the mods you do and great tips for a smoother performance out of these tiny cheap cars!

Yes a huge variety of lipos on the market, many different sizes in all voltages, 850mah 3s is definitely on the smaller end but I've actually got a 3s about as small as my thumbnail😆 Absolutely a great hobby to get into with you family! Thanks for checking out the video😊
