If Leon is going to school in the near future have you started the IEP process? He most definitely qualifies but in my experience as a person that had an IEP FOR 11 years, it’s best to start the evaluations in the previous year.

•Did your days get a little easier as Leon got older? •Did Leon have problems with aspiration as a baby? My son has a hearing aid that goes inside the ear but hasn't been able to wear because of drainage. •Would you recommend the type of hearing aid Leon uses? From what I see what he uses doesn't go inside the ears.

I honestly don't know much about different types of hearing aid but I do know that the type Leon has is a bone anchored hearing aid and it is the only type that will work for his particular hearing loss, and I think that depending on the type of hearing loss you have only certain hearing aids will for you, but I would definitely ask your child's audiologist is there are any other types of hearing aids that would work, the one Leon has is called a 'bone anchored hearing aid from choclear'
