Now see, I could've went to Goodwill & nabbed me a big pair of old gray/black cargo pants-ish jeans & a HUGE black t shirt....then took a pair of scissors and some acid to them, then pour a bunch of silver glitter into a tub of water that had some Elmer's glue mixed inro it (thinly) and throw in the big black t shirt & let it dry (after I'd soaked it in the gluey glittery water) & slapped on a pair of Walmart tennis shoes & WA LA ! I would've had almost the same look for about $20.99. LOL The more money you make, the more the world forces you to spend crazy amounts on things, like $2200.00 jeans etc.'cause EVERYONE's micro scrutinizing every article of clothes, every car, every drink you drink etc. so then you'll look like you're poor & NOT successful or doing well in your profession if you DON'T wear ridiculously expensive clothes, every single item. (It gets pretty ridiculous really when you think about what over $5,000 dollars could buy for a poor family , what that amount means to the average person. Heck many people make LESS than that (than that one ouutfit costs) a YEAR here in the U.S., & they have to somehow live off that because they're disabled or unemployed or pretty old.)

I know that JK is probably even too generous with his giving to charities & other things to help people & I know that because I see how generous he is with his time with ARMYS when he doesn't have to be like he is. He really cares. The 1st part I commented I was kind of joking. cause we could make something & it could look just as good as clothes some wear that cost a fortune, but ofcourse the ones we made would LOOK LIKE we made them, they'd LOOK LIKE I got them at a Goodwill (salvge) store.... So no, ofcourse a person who's VERY famous & doing well financially isn't going to do what I suggested in that comment & the reason is (as I also mentioned earlier) that you can't be up where JK is now,& be a person who is ultra famous at peak success level & go walking around in 2nd hand clothes that strangers discarded after an old lady like me has ripped them up. Because our society makes it this way so that the more you have, the more everything you wear is supposed to cost. Imagine if you got really famous tomorrow & Oprah Winfrey was going to come interview you at your house, that you couldn't have her visit you like in my apartment I'm living at, because the world would see the pics & then everyone would wonder what had happened to your money, your success, you see? So once people get very famous, then they have to be even more aware of what clothes they wear,, what they buy, more than they ever had to be before, to keep up appearances for the world, the public, the press. So our society;s demands that get put on famous people, that is what I was saying is not a good thing.
