JK Rowling at An Evening with Harry, Carrie & Garp- Q&A

'An Evening with Harry, Carrie & Garp' was held on the 1st & 2nd August 2006 at the Radio City Music Hall, New York. Along with Stephen King and John Irving, Jo did a reading from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince followed by a Q&A session. The pupose of the event was to raise money for The Haven Foundation and Médécins sans Frontieres. The reading follows a short montage of clips about Jo and HP.

For anyone who's in doubt: At the end she says 'And Owen, because he wouldn't take up much space'. This is a reference to John Irving's character Owen Meany from his novel A prayer for Owen Meany. Owen Meany is the size of a normal 5 year old when he's, like, 12. That's what she means :)
