J.K. Rowling is my hero. Knowing that she was once a normal person just like all of us and that only talent got her to be well-known makes me look up to her even more, because not everybody can do that. Her writing is something special. I fell in love with the Harry Potter books a long while ago and they've been my life ever since. I've learned countless lessons from every book, and I will, without a doubt, pass those books to my own children.

J.K's mother never knowing about Harry Potter is similar to Snape dying not knowing that Harry would live (he died believing Harry was going to die and not come back). So sad.. :/

I love how he asks her straight up, to the point questions..she doesn't hesitate for a second. She knows herself better then most people and I think H.P caused that. love her

JK Rowling is truly an inspiration. Harry Potter was a major part of my childhood. It has inspired me to write my own Fantasy series (and to be a writer in general). Plus, JK Rowling seems to be a genuinely decent person. I would love to meet her. As well as Stephen King and George RR Martin. :).

J.K Rowling is incredible; as a writer and a person and a woman. I think she's brilliant; she's a real person who has real beliefs and just wants to raise their children and be happy because she's been through relationships that haven't been so successful as they could've been. Her life is amazing because she chose her own fate and did what she wanted. That is what makes her brilliant; she is just Joanne Rowling, and I and every other fan in the world thinks Joanne Rowling is BRILLIANT.

This is very surprising! Joanne has millions upon millions of fans, and yet this documentary about her only has 457 views! This shows that the vast majority of people love to be entertained, but the idea of learning for the sake of learning, even about something or someone they love, is just totally off their radar screens. And surprise, it's July 31st, her birthday!

I absolutely love JK Rowling and the Harry Potter books have given me and my son so much joy. However the rags to riches story is a bit far fetched. Thats not to say that I don't think she had a period of her life when she was poor because she was unable to work whilst looking after her child as a single mum. But living in a village detached cottage is not my idea of childhood poverty.

It is. My mother is very spiritual. She said those books delve into some very dark things, things many people aren't even aware that exists and have been long forgotten. just a few are aware and others don't know or refuse to believe
