All the censorship and inaccuracies of the uniforms is painful. This is why CoD: World at War provided the most authentic experience of any CoD title set in that period. Nothing controversial was held back and every detail, even down to the smallest in regards to uniforms, flags, and so on was authentic. Loved it. But that was back in 2008. People today have gotten soft I suppose. Sad…

Yeah the insignia is all wrong and all over the place, makes this game look fake AF! Wehrmacht having Waffen-SS armbands and mixed insignia from different brands etc. Flags are censored and sometimes they are not. I like the 90s better not this PC era of correctness...

Some officers are wearing green Waffenrocks. Since the officer was older-looking, the uniform was supposed to be grey, because the green Waffenrocks were only issued after 1939.

@@Peter22055 Theres a reason to it. The flags its easier to change, in the german version its a cross isntead of the swastika. The reason why they censor the uniforms was becouse they would have to create more models for the uncensored version so to save money they just made the censored model for both versions. This is why focusing on 1 unit on a ww2 game that covers multiple area is really bad. They had no issue showing various of allied units on the older titles why can't they do that in this game.

@@devincant6201 Because this is 1944, and the allies are basically knocking on the Reich's front door. Imagine you're a German at this time. You're taking heavy casualties (resulting in near-constant shortages of staff and the need for field promotions to fill them), and the allies are close enough that they could arrive at any day. Are your primary priorities: A) Uniform logistics: keep everything up-to-code, including obtaining the right uniforms to be distributed as necessary. Gotta look good, after all! B) Combat readiness: Make sure everyone can reasonably be identified and people are in the spots they need to be to launch a defense when the inevitable attack comes.

Last time I checked, the SS stopped wearing the black M32 uniforms by 1939. That's why you see them in grey.

everything nice beautiful wonderful, I don't understand only one thing, in front of the entrance to the building there are flags with a swastika (yes I know, not politically correct but historically correct) German uniforms are also fine except for the guard in a black uniform who I believe is an SD (security service) officer apart from his peculiar uniform, what kind of armband does he have who wore it I thought the NSDAP members wore swastika armbands and not Eisernes Kreuz
