I'm with you brother. I've dealt with depression and anxiety for quite a while now, and have been going through quite a bit these past...shoot...I wanna say since 2013 things have just not been good for me. From getting hooked on pain killers, losing friends, last October my 7 year old niece died instantly after my sister got in a car accident, and my niece was in the back seat. My daughter and niece are only 5 months apart in age, and were like sisters. So it was hard on my daughter. When we had my niece's funeral, I told myself I was NOT gonna look at her in her open casket. My friend's body really freaked me out after he died from an overdose in 2015. He just looked WAY different, and feeling his hand, it felt like cold, hard, wood. So there was absolutely no way I could look at her body. But it was pretty much unavoidable. When the people opened her casket, my sister who was seriously injured, lost it, as well as my mom. I didn't look. But then I ended up getting a glimpse of her, and then when everyone had left the room, I went back in to say good bye to her. Her head wounds were seriously visible. She had a gash on her forehead, and bruises on the side of her head. I'm not sure how they couldn't cover them up, but it was so traumatizing. Then my cousin just passed away on the 1st of this month from a car accident as well, and my mom, and I had like ptsd from my nieces funeral. We couldn't handle it. And maybe a month before my niece died, I found out my girlfriend of 8 years, and mother of my child, had cheated on me, and was seeing someone else behind my back. So it's been one thing after another. Seems like things will never get better. But I'm trying to stay strong.
