지난 몇 년 동안 발매되었던 싱글들과 새롭게 탄생된 다섯 곡, 총 10개의 트랙이 담겨 있다.
10개의 트랙 전곡의 작사와 탑라인을 JK김동욱이 직접 만들어냈고 앨범 타이틀인 'G I A N T'는 기타리스트 겸 뮤비 디렉터인 Jimmy Chang, 차세대 사운드 장인으로 평가받는 윤숙영과의 협업을 통해서 탄생된 곡이다.
밴프와 재스퍼 일대의 자연의 웅장함을 배경으로 촬영된 'G I A N T' 뮤비에서는 우리와 늘 함께하는 자연이란 거대한 존재를 자이언트에 비유해 인간의 삶에서 절대적인 존재 없어서는 안될 존재임을 표현했다.

JK Kim Dong Uk, you are a genius ! With each new video, I say to myself : impossible to do better. And next video is even better, even more upsetting and touching, even more more more... Giant is a pure wonder : lyrics, music, scenery, atmosphere and your voice of course ! And these percussion sounds «in the background» are like a haunting wound or endless questions with no answer in mind ! Thanks for this new album which speaks to me so much (I hope I could buy it because it's not always easy from France). No giant will come making my sorrow of «Umma» disappear but good music, warm voices and the strength of our beautiful nature can comfort me. And I find all this in your videos. I'm not crazy, I only believe in God (or at least in a divine power) and I think you are a kind of angel (with some imperfections and sometimes mischievous 😇), one of those sent to earth to give hope, heal pains and to wake up the anesthezied hearts of the «poor human beings» that we are ! Sorry for my comment too long, to personal et probably boring... I'm feeling a bit stupid but sometimes I just want to follow my heart 💔💓💖 A lot of thanks «Mr JK». 감사합니다
